Paper Empress

A sheet becomes a living origami court, then a paper sculpture bearing your name.

Prepare your photos

One clear portrait; an optional full-length view helps preserve posture, not the original background.

Plain clothes and diffuse light separate the face cleanly. The paper sculpture appears at the end, not as a static title throughout.

The direction

01

Opening

0–4s: Intimate three-quarter portrait, focus shifts from her eyes to the folded bird. She opens her palm and releases it gently.

02

Development

4–10s: Bird unfolds into a spiral of large paper cranes around her. Lateral camera accelerates briefly through foreground paper wings, then slows into a wide orbit showing her at the calm centre.

03

Ending

10–15s: Cranes settle and fold into thick pleated-paper sculptures, MVP and exact your name on separate lines behind her. Warm raking light reveals real folds and shadows, face remains unobstructed.

Sound

Crisp paper folds, wings rustling, airy room resonance.

What to preserve

No feathers or real animals, no body folding, no unreadable confetti text, no paper covering the face.
